Descriere

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are designed to power devices with high energy consumption (flashlights, cordless power tools, medical devices, as a component in portable chargers and laptop battery packs, small-sized electric vehicles). A built-in triple protection system against short circuit, overheating, overcharging, and overdischarging is implemented by equipping the battery with a thermal fuse and a special protection board (for devices without their own protection board). If the maximum allowable temperature is reached, the thermal fuse disconnects the load circuit, preventing further overheating of the battery. The protection board serves to disconnect the load circuit when the battery voltage reaches its minimum or maximum value, thereby preventing overcharging or overdischarging of the battery.
